Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Ashes the Cat needs a home

Our website is updated daily

Ashes is spayed, UTD on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Approx. DOB is May 2014.

Ashes is a sweet girl and has always been the most active of her siblings.  She is curious, playful and is always looking for attention.  She loves to be held and will snuggle into your neck and sometimes put her paws around your neck as you hold her.  She gets along well with the other cats and kittens, as well as the two large dogs she lives with.

Ashes developed a food allergy around one year of age but is doing fine now on a limited-ingredient food.  It took some time for an accurate diagnosis as to why Ashes was scratching her neck and chin, resulting in a few bald spots where her fur did not grow back.  She has small patches under her chin and a more noticeable spot across her shoulders.  She is currently eating Nature's Balance Green Pea & Duck formula which is a reasonably priced limited ingredient, grain free food and she is doing fine with it.

Ashes continues to be her sweet self, always looking for attention and purring at the drop of a hat.
